A dedicated community portal to strengthen business relationships amongst Lohana caste members across the globe will be launched soon. “Such a portal will be formally launched as ‘Lohana Connect’ in the near future,” said Shree Satishbhai Vithlani, President & Managing Trustee, Shree Lohana Mahaparishad – an apex body of Lohana community members residing across the globe.

And, the hosting of Lohana International Business Forum Expo 2024 (LIBF Expo 2024) from 18th to 21st January 2024 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India is another business oriented initiative planned by Shree Lohana Mahaparishad.

Shree Satishbhai Vithlani said, “LIBF Expo 2024 is an international exhibition to promote networking and collaboration opportunities amongst Lohanas worldwide. Participating in forthcoming LIBF Expo 2024 will provide an opportunity to showcase the diverse array of products and services to a global audience, connect with potential partners, attend informative seminars, and network with industry leaders and government officials. It's a valuable platform for networking and establishing business relationships. The target audience of this business event includes business professionals, industry leaders, government officials, students, innovators and start-ups looking for global trade and networking opportunities.”

The forthcoming LIBF Expo 2024 is open to all for the visitation. To exhibit ‘business’ at the exhibition space or a stall at this event, the commercial enterprise should either be owned by a Lohana, or should have a Lohana partner/stakeholder preferably. "LIBF 2024 is however open to relaxing the caste-oriented norms for participation in exhibition stalls in certain cases as exceptions," said Shree Satishbhai Vithlani.

LIBF Expo 2024 has elicited great interest so far from the Lohanas residing in India and also other parts of the world as India's economy boasts diversity and swift growth, fuelled by key sectors such as information technology, services, agriculture and manufacturing. The nation capitalises on its broad domestic market, a youthful and technologically adept labour force, and an expanding middle class. India is ranked 5th in the world's GDP rankings currently.
