Tanker Management And Self Assessment (TMSA) seminar gives an opportunity for officers & ratings from tanker/gas fleets, to touch base with shore managers roughly once a year, with each seminar concluding with a dinner for officers and their families.

Ship management companies turn to TMSA programs, developed by the Oil Companies International Marine Forum, for enhancing and ensuring maximum safety in management systems.

This year, Anglo-Eastern Ship Management India's TMSA theme was: “Be the Change -Influence safety”. It strongly focused on compliance with safe working procedures and how to prevent accidents, especially Enclosed space Entry casualties, along with other topics such as PSC inspections, Loss of propulsion &  black outs & “STOP WORK AUTHORITY”.

"The officers & ratings actively took part in the safety workshop, where they gained knowledge  as well as provided valuable inputs and suggestions for preventing closed space accidents", said Anglo-Eastern Ship Management India's MD, Mr Vineet Gupta.

Common issues from a technical, operational, and crewing perspective were also discussed.

Leading the various sessions and workshops at the TMSA seminar were managers from our Hong Kong, Singapore and Mumbai offices, notably Capt. Vinay Singh, Mr. Vineet Gupta, Capt. Shrinath Hegde, Capt.
