It is a well-known fact that those students who aim to crack The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test or NEET with top scores must prioritise the Physics section. It is imperative to score good marks in the Physics section to secure an envious all India rank at NEET. The main definition of physics is a branch of natural science that explains and predicts the interaction between energy and matter.

“The NEET syllabus is very well defined. For the past five years, all exam papers have been consistently set based on the syllabus of NCERT books. It is thus obvious that NEET students have to strictly follow NCERT contents. As far as physics subject is concerned, NEET students will have to ‘go little beyond’ as they need to practice some additional sums and study booklets provided by their coaching classes, and also go through the relevant academic content of national level publications,” said Prof Sameer Rane – a renowned NEET teacher of Physics subject based in Mumbai.

Prof Rane added, “NEET students should remember that competitive exams are not merely about solving twenty books once, but are more about solving one book twenty times. One should perfect an ability to identify data from the given numerical, apply the right formula, calculate the right answer and mark it properly in the Physics exam paper at the earliest as a student usually should attempt a question within a minute’s time during NEET exam.”

Prof Rane said that NEET students should refer to academic chapters multiple times. One of the most common methods for familiarising an examination pattern is to solve as many previous year's question papers as possible. Previous year questions help students become familiar with the exam structure, but they also help them acquire confidence in a subject.

NEET is a competitive exam.  “So get up, buck up and get going. Stay blessed,” Prof Rane advised students.
